Job Description

Magnolia is a digital business platform with a CMS at its core. We’re an innovative, fast growing organization at the pulse of the digital transformation, seeking a Support Engineer for our internal Services team in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Your task is to support Magnolia clients with technical expertise regarding Magnolia and project implementations. You are curious, love helping people, and have a broad knowledge of web applications and supporting infrastructure. Your engineering background allows you to identify common traits in successful sites and build a repository of known-to-work solutions.


  • Solve technical questions from clients via support ticketing system
  • Build and release custom functionality to solve client issues
  • Travel occasionally to client locations to provide services on-site (APAC countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, …)
  • Work in an international environment

Your Skills and Experience

  • 5 - 8 years of experience
  • Experience with Java or other object-oriented languages and programming technologies.
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, various JavaScript frameworks, orientation in templating languages such as freemarker, mustache or thymeleaf, awareness of related technologies and tools – Git, Maven, Jenkins, Application servers, RDMS, JCR, etc.
  • Awareness of related technologies - Git, Maven, Jenkins, Application Servers, RDMS, JCR, RESTful or AWS services and similar.
  • Knowledge of systems for e-commerce, CRM, DAM or marketing automation.
  • Excellent technical, problem solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to speak and write English fluently.
  • A strong commitment to timelines and deliverables.
  • Willing and able to travel occasionally.
  • Ready to go the extra mile to help clients win with Magnolia.
