Position Overview:
As a Technical Project Manager, you will oversee the launch of new clients, including the development of their new websites and ensuring seamless integration with our SaaS platform. This role requires a combination of project coordination and account management skills. You will collaborate closely with designers, developers, and the Implementation Specialist to manage project timelines, coordinate tasks, and ensure a successful website launch that drives client conversion and engagement.
While the Implementation Specialist focuses on configuring and promoting adoption of our integrated SaaS platform, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing the entire project. Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing their expectations and ensuring their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle. By leveraging tools such as Jira for task management and Confluence for documentation, you will keep projects organized, on track, and foster strong client relationships.
Your skills and experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management for web and e-commerce projects (i.e., Magento, WooCommerce, Shopify).
- Proven experience with various project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and SAFe.
- Demonstrated skills in budgeting and resource allocation for successful project delivery.
- Experience in supervising teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Strong skills in requirements management to ensure alignment with client expectations and project outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in using Jira for task management and Confluence for documentation.
- Knowledge of website/e-commerce usability, conversion optimization, analytics, email marketing, and SEO is an asset.
- Knowledge of PHP and Wordpress is an asset
- Proficiency in English is essential
