Job description
Drcom Group is looking for an innovative Technical Manager to join our company. As the Technical Manager, you will oversee the technical component of our clients' projects as well as managing the internal technology team and external partners to continuing deliver above standard.
To be successful as a Technical Manager, you should always be expanding your industry knowledge and be able to quickly identify problems. Outstanding Technical Manager has good communication skills, are accountable, trustworthy, and able to build lasting relationships with their teams.
KEY DUTIES WILL BE:
- Analyze technical requests from project’s stakeholders, clarify requirements, scope of work and delegate tasks to team members
- Be the technology owner for our clients’ projects, involving in strategic and operational decision making
- Understand and convey the company vision to the team and drive initiatives to achieve them
- Responsible for hiring, mentoring, developing, and managing an entire team of technology profiles to deliver major initiatives that drive our business and client's growth
- Manage and strengthen the relationship with our external technology partners to drive the best know-how in project execution
- To self-train on new technologies and develop the new skills for project teams if any new technologies required based on the project roadmap
- Report to COO and work closely with Creative and Program Team to achieve business objectives
Your skills and experience
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Technical skill:
- Expert in C#, NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET (Core), MVC, Web API, Entity Framework (Core) and SQL Server
- Strong knowledge of programming patterns and principles e.g Separation of Concern, Repository Pattern, UnitOfWork, DRY, SOLID etc.
- Experienced in software design and application architectures
- Good at source code management, continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Good knowledge of CMS, CRM system such as SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
Leadership: The ideal candidate should also have impressive leadership skills to motivate, mentor and ensure everyone remains productive and gets projects done on time.
Communication: English proficiency is a must. Much of daily responsibility as a technical manager is offering support and guidance to the team, so it's important to be able to give clear instructions and set expectations. With effective written and verbal communication, the candidate can ensure that their team understands their responsibility.
Multitasking: Strong communication, planning, critical thinking, and organizing skills required. Must be able to understand users, analyse data, solve problems, make decisions, and continuously improvement
DESIRED PROFILES:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field
- 4-5 years’ experience in the industry. 2-3 years’ experience in similar position
- Experience in managing and coaching small to medium team
- Familiarity with creative design, marketing and multimedia is a plus
- Experience in Medical or Life Science Industries is a plus
