Job description
We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator who plan, implement, oversee and maintain server and network infrastructures and projects. The job duties and responsibilities detailed below:
- Provide first line assistance to users when problems with systems
- Help to triage and where possible resolve issues immediately or to log and escalate as appropriate.
- Provide a conduit for two way communication between users and support staff, including champion users, other floorwalkers, service desk.
- Support and advise on downtime procedures and business continuity to ensure that they are adopted successfully in their allocated local work area.
- Configure, install, and accurately document server environments Diagnose and repair server and software failures
- Perform an RCA and appropriately document all system issues
- Maintain and monitor server environments and infrastructure for high availability and disaster recovery requirements
- Collaborate with Networking/Security teams to ensure proper server configuration.
- Perform patching, update, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation.
- Proactively manage and maintain server, network, and security system
- Administer and support core Microsoft, office 365 and VMware technologies
- Design and implement monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions that will make a hands-off environment
- Define and document best practices and support procedures
- Can participates in on-call rotation and available 24hr (7d/week, 365d/year) for any critical issues depend on team workload

Your skills and experience
To be successful in this role you must have some of the following:
- At least 4 years working experience in an IT Administrator role
- Fluency in oral and written English imperative (particularly written)
- Experience in Design, implementing and administering Microsoft Products, especially Active Directory, KMS, WSUS together with the common network services like DNS, WINS, DHCP, etc.
- Experience in AD InterForest Migration using Quest/ADMT tools, AD connect deployments, AD Upgradation projects
- Linux administrator skills (file systems, command lines, disaster recovery, network security and firewall)
Experience with security toolsets such as disk encryption, anti-virus, DLP, local firewalls
Knowledge of Configure, deploy, and relocate desktops, laptops, printers, and any other related devices - Quick and analytical thinker
- Effective communication and documentation skills
Certificates
- Azure certificates – AZ 104
- AWS certificates – AWS Certified SysOps
- Linux Administrator - LPIC-1
Nice to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related area) preferred.
- Certified MCSE, minimally in MCSA Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
- Proficiency in Icinga, Grafana, Graphite, Gitlab (or GitHub) tools
- Experience or knowledge of container technologies (Kubernetes, Mesos) and Cloud
- Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- Must be organized and can manage projects of varying length
- Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently
