Job description
- Analyze and troubleshoot escalated service issues as Level 2 Support.
- Deploy system upgrades and patches.
- Develop and enhance effective monitoring alarm mechanisms.
- Create and maintain scripts to automate day-to-day tasks.
- Provide on-call support in case of emergencies.
- Document procedures, as well as identify possible improvement of current practices.
- Manage database platforms for optimal performance and to ensure data integrity, which will include backup and restoration procedures.
- Support other functional groups for data gathering and analysis.
Your skills and experience
- Must be a graduate of Electronic Engineering / Computer Engineering / Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent
- At least 2 years working experience in a Support Role for Linux based Systems.
- Redhat or CentOS administration training/knowledge
- Scripting knowledge either bash, shell, Perl or Python
- Experience in network/integration protocol analysis
- Experience in PostgreSQL and MySQL administration
- Experience in cloud platforms, AWS or GCP
- Must be able to work under pressure.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and adapt to different challenges and changing priorities.
- Proactive and willing to learn new technologies.
- Can communicate well in English.
