The Job

Your tasks:
- Install, configure and maintain systems and applications
- Managing incidents and problems on a daily basis to minimize downtime on customer activities
- Understand customer demands and propose best solutions
- Troubleshoot system and applications issues
- Maintain documents, procedures and technical guides
- Report to the team leader about activities and projects

Your Skills and Experience

Required skills:
- Customer oriented approach
- Technically curious and having analytical skills
- Self-organized and prioritize work
- Team player
- Ability to work on a shift system (24x7)
- Willing to learn and use new tools/technologies

Technical skills:
- Managing patching and package management, users and permissions. Disks, LVM and filesystems, OS-level networking
- Basic or intermediate knowledge and system administration skills on Windows and/or Linux
- Basic or intermediate understanding of network technologies and protocols
- Basic or intermediate understanding of protocols frequently used by applications (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, SSH, etc.)
- Apache, IIS, Nginx, Varnish, CDN: Akamai, CloudFront
- Applications server: Asp.Net, Coldfusion, Tomcat

Communication skills:
- Intermediate / advanced speaking, reading and writing skills in English
- Ability to read technical procedures and apply them
- Ability to handle calls in English

Having knowledge and experience in the following technologies is an advantage:
- Database: MySQL,Oracle, MSSQL
- Scripting (Shell, Powershell, Python, etc)
- Web/App technologies

- At least 2 years of experience in system administration
