The Job

As part of the site reliability team, the project manager is responsible for driving programs that have a wide scope that may change or evolve over time to meet the benefit expectations of the organization. A successful candidate must have a strong sense of ownership, pride and accountability for capability, and are responsible for end-to-end quality of what is released.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Interact with developers and key stakeholders and build relationships to deliver solutions
  • Engage with cross department teams to ensure platform, testing and support teams are aligned to project goals
  • Collaborate with business and other technology teams across the organization to identify and prioritize solutions
  • Partner with stakeholders to provide visibility, solicit feedback, and set expectations
  • Facilitate team progress in choosing pragmatic solutions and making effective business decisions
  • Work with partner teams to build out timelines, scope, and maintain partnership
  • Influence stakeholder expectations through direct relationships
  • Adjust to quickly changing priorities and shifting goals

Your Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years experience in program management or related experience
  • 3+ years of demonstrated successful project delivery
  • BA/BS in related field preferred
  • Experience in Azure or AWS cloud
  • Know and apply the SDLC to projects
  • Familiarity with technologies used in Cloud architecture and operations
  • Familiarity with common open source technologies such as Linux, MySQL, Kafka, Cassandra, etc.
  • Ability to translate between technical and non-technical requirements
  • Experience managing technical projects in an Agile environment
  • Experience working with developers and stakeholders to accomplish a goal
  • See the big picture, understanding needs and tying them to results, and driving value
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast moving, multi-project team environment
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Leadership skills and the ability to drive the completion of deliverables on time and with appropriate rigor & urgency
  • Exceptional communication skills and experience working across many levels of an organization
  • Rigorous attention to detail and follow through
  • Ability to support multiple concurrent projects and meet delivery timelines
  • Self-motivated professional who can work independently
  • Demonstrate a positive mindset, high levels of character and integrity, and a keen awareness of continuous improvement
