What you will be responsible for:

We are looking for front-end engineers with a keen eye for design. Front-end engineers are responsible for ensuring the alignment of web design and user experience requirements, optimizing web pages for maximum efficiency.

  • Build web applications in React and TypeScript.
  • Participate in the entire software development life cycle of the Agile team (requirement analysis, planning, architectural design, documentation, implementation, code review, unit test, test, and deployment).
  • Adhere to programming conventions and good programming practices.
  • Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies.
  • Keeping informed of advancements in the field of front-end development.

Your skills and experience

Must have

  • 2+ years of experience in React or relevant JavaScript framework, such as Angular 2+, Vue.js...
  • Experience in consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with TypeScript or willingness to learn TypeScript.
  • Experience in handling data from clients, back-ends, and 3rd parties.
  • Strong understanding and experience of HTML, CSS, and related concepts at scale (responsive/adaptive design, accessibility, libraries, and post-processors).
  • Good sense of result-oriented, ownership, and responsibility for code quality.
  • Good sense for quality, teamwork, and innovation.
  • Self-motivated and continuous improvement of your engineering skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with NodeJS (MERN) is a big plus.
  • Ability to build front-end architect for a website with React from scratch according to the design of the designer.
  • Non-functional aspects, i.e., security, performance, and scalability.
  • Common design patterns for front-end web development.
  • Clean code, coding standards, and code review.
  • Unit tests, mocking libraries, code coverage, and code refactoring.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban.
