The Job

We are looking for a smart, motivated software tester to join our R&D team to test several new software products for emerging market. Candidates with ability to learn and adapt quick, having excellent programming skills, driven to explore and develop new things, having desire to build great industrial software product that are feature rich yet simple, user friendly, and maintainable are best suit for the job.

The Software Tester will be responsible to test new Products & add-on modules to IBM Maximo Asset Management system.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define test requirements and objectives with understanding of various test scenarios and configurations to ensure high quality regression testing
  • Take ownership of product quality, performing all types of functional and non-functional testing as the situation dictates
  • Ability to build and script repeatable end-to-end system tests with the goal of automation
  • Investigate, troubleshoot and document test failures for communication to the appropriate development team
  • Documentation of test cases and test steps
  • Collaboration with engineering teams, product management and Develops to ensure proper test coverage

Your Skills and Experience

Soft skills:

  • Ability to work independently under minimum supervision.
  • Self-study and research

Hard skills:

Must have:

  • Relevant work experience in development and/or testing role.
  • Experience with web and mobile testing.
  • Experience in design test case/ test scenarios.
  • Database skills and experience with cross-browser, cross-platform and responsive testing (PC, mobile and tablet).
  • Requires strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into layman terms
  • Collaborative in nature with a strong desire to dig in and learn independently and as well as through asking questions
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize issues in a fast-paced work environment with competing deadlines.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in developing test automation.
  • Performance testing.
  • Knowledge/ Experience in development process, Agile development and QA (process and auditor) for software development process.

Language: Ability to communicate in English


  • University degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, Management Information System or equivalent.
