  • Design and execute test cases for smart watch system software based on Wear OS.
  • Perform initial analysis of reported device software issues to narrow down the root causes.
  • Use manual testing or test automation tools to execute test plans.
  • Review test methods and propose test plans for new or updated device software projects.
  • Participate in the software development activities, including design, requirement analysis, full testing life cycle.
  • Contribute to establishing good software requirements and specifications.
  • Support CS team to handle user questions and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Effectively use a defect tracking system and quality assurance tools.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in performing testing/SQA activities for Wear OS, Android mobile device ROMs (AOSP), or other Linux-based devices.
  • Good ability to analyze logs and triage reported device software issues.
  • Experience in Bash Shell scripting is required
  • Experience in running Android Compatibility Test Suite (CTS) is an advantage.
  • Experience in developing automation test scripts/framework is highly preferred.
  • Skilled in Android SDK, embedded Linux, Java or Python is a plus.
  • Participate in different phases of the software development life cycle, including testing of integration, function, system, acceptance and regression.
  • Be able to perform individually as well as in a team.
  • Good English communication skill is preferable.
