Job description

• Develop all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end
• Manage back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users.
• Integrate the front-end elements into the application.
• Perform assigned tasks independently.
• Ensure the assigned tasks to be performed on-time and with high quality.
• Investigate and analyze the requirements
• Write design/technical documents.
• Review design/technical solutions/code.
• Support creating system architecture.
• Weekly and/or on-demand report to supervisor.
• Strictly follow the project and organization processes, policies and regulations

Your skills and experience

Basic requirements:

• Proficient in Advanced English. (Please asses your English level in IELST or TOEIC in the cover letter if possible)
• Minimum holding a Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Willing to learn new technologies is required as you may work with different technologies over the time
• Having experienced working in international - Agile team and English-speaking skill is crucial
• Self-management and teamwork-minded
• Only accepted English version CV & fluent English.

Technical & Skills competencies

• 3+ years of proficiency in Scala
• 3+ years developing REST-based applications using frameworks like Play or Spring
• Application development experience with RDBMS and NoSQL data stores like MongoDb, Hbase, Cassandra.
• Working knowledge of Javascript and CSS
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies in particular
