Job description
Lead a high-performing Software Quality Assurance (SQA) team and be responsible for the SQA activities covering mobile applications and e-commerce websites.
Responsible for both manual and automated testing.
Provide technical guidance and leadership to the SQA team members.
Ensures team members have appropriate training, skill levels, and expertise for their SQA roles.
Lead the definition and drive the continuous improvement of SQA processes.
Develop KPIs and metrics for measuring the performance of the SQA team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and organize SQA activities.
Develop test strategies that are most appropriate for different software releases.
Develop and publish key metrics and test reports using dashboards to keep release stakeholders informed of SQA status.
Assess the status of software releases and be the final gatekeeper to ensure that the releases are rolled out with the highest quality level.
Monitor app reviews and end-users feedback to identify test coverage gaps for improvement actions.
Ensure the continuous build up and maintenance of test cases and QA knowledge bases for the software products.
Act as a strong advocate for delivering high quality software within the company.
Your skills and experience
Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
5+ years of experience as a hands-on SQA engineer and/or software developer.
3+ years of experience in leading both manual and automated testing teams, preferably with greater than 20 members.
3+ years in people management and/or project management roles.
Must have strong experience in testing mobile apps for iOS and/or Android platforms, and delivered multiple releases of commercial software products to end-users.
Must have strong experience in test automation, be familiar with test automation frameworks and tools.
Must possess strong leadership and people management skills.
Must possess good English communication skills.
Should be familiar with Agile software practices.
Should be familiar with test management and defect tracking tools.
