Senior/Lead Performance Tester

We're seeking experienced and talented performance testing engineers to work on our flagship platform that serves millions of customers daily.

You will join our Agile Engineering team and manage the performance testing for the team while coaching them to have a quality mindset. You will be part of our committed Quality community, passionate about delivering a high-quality experience for our customers. To be successful, you will need to demonstrate expertise in test performance and have a solid understanding of the testing methodology.

What will you be responsible for?

1. Work on designing test scenarios in testing tool, workload modelling; Execute Performance Test including Load, Stress, Endurance Test, Scalability, Chaos.
2. Develop scripts or code to simulate the business critical transactions for various protocols like HTTP/HTML, Web services using HP Performance Centre, JMeter, Gatling etc.m      
3. Monitor server metrics using App Dynamics, CA APM, Splunk, Sitescope, Dynatrace, and investigate any bottlenecks identified during the test.
4. Working knowledge of at least 1 programming language- Java, Scala, Python, or similar.
5. Experience in Agile Methodologies and Agile Tools like – JIRA, Confluence, Rally, etc.
6. Ability to use CI/CD practices and pipelines.

1. Good communications skills as this role will require a lot of collaborations with internal and external teams.
2. Experience in test scripting, workload modelling, test data management, performance environment management, test design and execution, monitoring, performance bottleneck identification.
3. Good knowledge in non-functional requirements gathering and mapping of test cases.
4. Good knowledge in using performance testing tools like HP Performance Centre, JMeter, or Gatling with different protocols like HTTP/HTML, Web service, MQ, Java RMI, ODBC etc.
5. Hands on experience on using build automation tools like Jenkins, Bamboo for automating performance tests and result analysis.
6. Analyse performance test results and compare with the Non-functional requirements/SLA.
7. Status tracking and preparing detailed test strategy, summary reports.
