The Job

We want to find a Senior Java Developer who will work with us in our project. He/she needs to have experience of designing complex and highly scalable backend service architectures. 

  • Work alongside existing in house tech team, using our project management tools, take part in meetings etc.
  • Integrate our application with a new content data provider (XML push service) with high performance, which may include:
    • Review of product source code o Adaptation of existing backend service to cater for a new provider / write new service.
    • Design and modification of supporting databases.
    • Work on APIs
    • Work alongside mobile developers to integrate backend into product.
  • Write beautiful, structured, scalable backend and well-documented code in Java Spring Framework, with MongoDB, MySQL.
  • Write SAD/SDD documents

Your Skills and Experience

  • Have 3+ years of experience in Java Web Services (REST, SOAP), very proficient in Java Core and experienced in design patterns.
  • Have strong experience in Spring Boot and Spring Framework (Spring Core, Spring Data, Spring Security...) applications development and testing.
  • Have strong knowledge of database programming and design: MongoDB, MySQL, MariaDB
  • Experience with HTML5, Web-Service, JSON, JavaScript, AJAX, AngularJS, J2EE / JEE experience, Angular is a plus
  • Knowledge of XML, JSON, Framework, database and OOP concept
  • Experience of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microservices will be advantage
