Lunimedia Corporation is a venture firm established by veterans from famous US game companies, to create the first unique PC Game digital distribution platform in Asia.

Lunimedia’s gaming platform, Lunipark, was developed to ease inconvenience between developers and users. Lunipark users can play popular PC games at affordable hourly rates without owning high end PCs, and Developers can enter new B2B PC Café market earning new revenue stream in time-usage.

Future goal for Lunimedia is to expand B2C home market by executing B2B business to gain pool of quality games catalogs, and we would like to find great talent of people to grow Lunimedia together to achieve something never done before in game industry.

We are looking for a C++ developer, who can be responsible for building a desktop dynamic link library provide in-game APIs for game developers. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop this application, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and upgrade development of Lunipark platform game multiplayer client
  • Develop and maintain Window Platform application using C++, WebRTC based protocol.
  • Analyze Game API design
  • Communicate with overseas developers may occur, technical English chatting and understanding of English documentation is needed
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code
  • Implement performance and quality modules
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Your Skills and Experience

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Excellent software engineering skills
  • 3 years + development with C++ API experiences
  • Understanding of TCP/UDP network
  • Work with honesty and responsibility
  • Strong proficiency in C++, with fair knowledge of the language specification
  • Thorough knowledge of the standard library, STL containers, Boost library, and algorithms

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experienced in DirectX development
  • English speaker
  • Experienced in Game client deployment
  • Opensource activity (ex. GitHub)
  • Good understanding of memory management in non-garbage collected environments
  • Understanding of dynamic polymorphism and C++ specific notions, such as friend classes
  • Familiarity with templating in C++
  • Knowledge of the latest C++11 standard is appreciated.
  • Familiarity with REST API, p2p network communication
  • Knowledge of low-level threading primitives and real-time environments.
  • Familiarity with system call wrapper library functions
  • Knowledge of component data sheets and specifications
  • Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}}
  • Familiarity with continuous integration
