Job description
- Execute on Scrum Master responsibilities to coach and facilitate one or many teams following the agile approach: stand-up meetings, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related ceremonies
- Ensure that the development teams are practicing/following core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.
- Update agile tracking systems to provide transparency on Product & Sprint Backlogs, recommend improvements and assist in changes to best practice, and support Development Leads and Product Owners/Product Managers as necessary.
- Well-support communication, improving transparency, and information sharing following agile leadership mindset.
- Lead discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
- Be a servant leader to motivate and develop team members toward the strong team with great success
- Help Development Lead/Department Manager with delivery plans, schedules, and resource assignments
- Understand Team dependencies and actively mitigate blockers.
- Empower the teams to self-organize - improve their productivity as well as product quality.
- Can understand how to make decision of improving code by continuous refactoring
- Implement 1On1 with members to build up trust relationship
Your skills and experience
Must-Have
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in Project Management, Agile Methodology
- Strong understanding of iterative and incremental development.
- Strong knowledge of Scrum methodology, processes, and practices. Understand about Lean tailoring.
- Expertise in Atlassian based Project Management tools-JIRA, Confluence is a must
- Technically you will understand and have worked with engineering members
- PMP and Scrum Master certificates are desirable
- Have good mindset of High Quality Work
- Excellent English communication – in both writing and speaking
- Critical Thinking and Problem Solving
- Strong sense of ownership
Nice-To-Have
- Experience working with BtoB environment
- Experience in Cloud ERP
- Able to communicate in Japanese
- Experience of training junior/middle members
