You will contribute by:
In this role, you will work as part of the team who are responsible for ensuring that development teams follow scrum framework values and agile practices, mentoring and motivating the teams to improve processes, facilitating meetings and decision-making processes, and eliminating team impediments.

  • Execute on Scrum Master responsibilities, including organizing and facilitating daily stand-up meetings, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related ceremonies.
  • Ensure that the development teams are practicing/following core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.
  • Update agile tracking systems to provide transparency on Product & Sprint Backlogs, recommend improvements and assist in changes to best practice, and support Development Managers and Product Managers as necessary.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to create business outcomes together with Product Owners and/or Business Analysts and Project Manager/Delivery Manager.
  • Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and information sharing.
  • Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
  • Participate proactively in developing and maintaining team standards, tools, and best practices; maintain process documentation.
  • Assist team with making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition.
  • Help Project Manager/Delivery Manager with project plans, schedules, and resource assignments as required to respond to emerging requirements and risks.
  • Understand Team dependencies and actively mitigate blockers.
  • Empower the teams to self-organize; improve their productivity.
  • Participate in the organizing and planning of the development schedule.
  • Assist the scrum teams to prioritise and deliver production maintenance (Business-As-Usual) work and Project work, according to capacity
  • Support implementation of CI/CD and DevOps practices and tools in maturing environment

Your skills and experience

Our ideal people will:

Have working knowledge or experience in:

  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in Project Management, Agile Methodology (Scrum and/or Kanban)
  • Be able to lead discussions related to product/application/modules/team and build relationships with other internal teams like DevOps, Service Desk, etc.
  • Strong understanding of iterative and incremental development.
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum methodology, processes, and practices. Understand about process tailoring.
  • Expertise in Atlassian based Project Management tools-JIRA, Confluence is a must
  • Good English communication and presentation skill.

Technically you will understand and have worked with some (or all):

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
  • Experience working with remote teams.
  • Experience working with Oracle PL/SQL and/or Java environment
  • Good understanding of Source Control Tools: GIT, Stash, Source Tree
