Job Description
PURPOSE OF JOB:
Responsible for identifying weak spots and applying testability to challenge better software design, promote engineering practices, bug free production strategies, testability, accessibility, privacy, and other advanced quality concepts across BAEMIN products.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1/ Ensuring quality of BAEMIN products:
Design and write test cases, regression tests and test scenarios;
Design scripts to automate testing and create tools for developers to test their own code and identify potential problems;
Work closely with client developers and Product Manager to understand the features and implement feature tests and impacted feature testcases; review requirements and specifications to provide timely meaningful feedback;
Debug failed test cases by analyzing logs and API responses and report bugs with details. Follow-up on bugs to closure.
2/ Other tasks assigned by Line Manager
Your Skills and Experience
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineer/ Information Technology, or experiences in related fields.
- More than 5 years of experience as QA Engineer or Tester
- 1-2 years of experience in coding and programming; and hands-on with automation (web, mobile app, and API automation);
- Familiar with agile software development and engineering culture.
Must-Have:
- Practical knowledge of manual testing techniques for web and mobile apps
- Be able to self-management
- Good at English communication
- Understanding of product implementation level, be able to analyze logs & API responses in Microservice integration level
- Have excellent analytical skills and systematic arrangement skills of anomaly
- Effective communication and teamwork skill, particularly the ability to work in squad to ensure delivering project timely meaningful
Nice-to-Have:
- Agile and Reactive problem-solving skill
- Experience in automation tests using Selenium
- Experience in performance test management
- High learning agility and a real passion for coding and programming, innovation, and solving challenging problems;
- High adaptability and flexibility to the rapid changes of the business;
