  • Create a roadmap and make plans for the quality assurance operations of GoodData platform.
  • Cooperate and communicate professionally with development teams to make sure the platform and all its applications are always developed and delivered safely and expected. 
  • Support teams to do automated, performance and manual testing of new features, troubleshoot, fix issues while the system is still running stably in good security, scalability and performance.
  • Lead, manage and support testing teams responsible for finding solutions, analyzing, designing, implementing performance and automation tests on Gooddata platform.
  • Play a leadership role in mentoring and developing team members’ career paths.
  • Be the main role in building the team, a hiring manager by working with supporters to source, hire and onboard talented and passionate engineers.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Analytical, problem solving abilities are your strengths. 
  • Experience working on multitasking and prioritizing.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Know how to negotiate, make decisions, explanation and presentation.
  • Strong leadership, know how to motivate team members. 
  • Open-minded, agile and persistent in dealing with difficulties.  

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years experience in software development: product specification, design, implementation, testing, release, and maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience in design, implement and execute automated tests such as functional, performance, load and longevity tests.
  • Have development experience with Java/C and are willing to learn other programming languages (Perl, Kotlin, Ruby,...)

Advantage Qualifications:

  • Hands-on programming experience with one of the following: Spring framework, JavaScript, Kotlin, Ruby, Perl, C, shell scripting.
  • Experience in REST API design, distributed systems, enterprise application, cloud based solutions.
  • Experienced with performance and load testing
  • Experience with CI/CD Jenkins, Docker containers, Splunk and GIT.
  • Experience with deploying and testing microservices on Kubernetes infrastructure.
