Project Manager (System Engineer, SQL, English)

ROLE OVERVIEW

• A driven and talented team player to add to our ODC team. You will be working with a large healthcare system in the US.
• The Project Lead will analyze, design, build, test, and support HL7 interfaces between EMR/EHR systems and our systems.

You will:

• You will be trained in the Healthcare IT domain, software development, and software integration.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to successfully deliver and implement interfaces.
• Participate in requirement gathering and analysis by directly interacting with the client/ vendor team to fully understand their needs and expectations
• Perform gap analysis on vendor requirements for creating new interfaces and enhancing existing interfaces.
• Engage in meetings to create and get approval for specification documents from various teams involved in the project.
• Participate in implementing interfaces using Mirth Connect, performing mapping, transformations, and testing.
• Responsible for performing and participating in system testing and integration testing with the help of application teams.
• Help in resolving issues and providing technical and business solutions.

Your skills and experience

Required Skills:

• Excellent documentation and communication skills in English
• 3+ years working with Information Systems or with a software company.
• Basic understanding of RDBMS systems: Microsoft SQL Server, practical knowledge of Structure Query Language (SQL) standards, and data modeling.
• Understand your limits and be comfortable asking for assistance when needed.
• Be proficient and confident in English listening and speaking skills

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with the software development life cycle
• Experience with Nextgen (Mirth) Connect, work on HL7 inbound and outbound interfaces through Mirth Connect, experience with healthcare interoperability data formats: HL7, FHIR
• Experience with interface connectivity protocols such as HL7 socket communications, FTP file transfers, and internet delivery.
• Experience with any EDI systems/standards
• Experience in the Medical Electronics Industry.
• Exposure to the US Healthcare ecosystem, especially the provider side.
• IELTS 6.0 or an equivalent English certification
• Attendance must be maintained at a higher-than-acceptable level.

Must be available at any time to assist with issues, upgrades, and on-call support.
