Job description

  • Research, compile and analyse user product feedback
  • Research and analyse the market, competitors, and latest trends
  • Journey mapping and utilising tools to prioritise feature development
  • Write and clearly define requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Create product roadmaps and translate them into a product backlog
  • Maintaining your product backlog and provide progress reports to the Product Director
  • Collaborate with the Product Director and other members of the Product team to deliver on the overall product vision and strategy
  • Acting as a point of contact between teams and stakeholders, as well as keeping customers and stakeholders updated on the status of the product
  • Collaborate with the Design team (UI/UX) to ensure products delight end users
  • Collaborate with the technology team, including Business Analysts and Developers, to ensure product requirements are met
  • Conduct user testing
  • Product planning and delivery, documentation and internal user training.

Your skills and experience

  • Fluent in English
  • 3+ years’ of Product Management experience in either a Product Owner or Product Manager role.
  • Experience in digital products is a must!
  • Experience in financial technology is a plus
  • An understanding of the Australian digital payments landscape or digital products in Australia will be highly regarded
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of agile methodologies
  • Have an understanding of design thinking methodologies
  • Experience with product planning and delivery
  • Experience in road mapping and prioritisation
  • Experience in user research and utilising data to drive decisions
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in defining and articulating customer requirements and turning these into user stories
  • Great analytical skills
  • Ability to make fast decisions
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, organization and time management skills
  • Self-motivator with exemplary planning and execution skills
  • Excellent intercultural skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse groups and stakeholders
  • Excellent team player with the ability to influence and negotiate
  • High attention to detail
