Glohow is a global game business partner who is dedicated to shining a spotlight on various contents and bringing their businesses to a global level.

Currently we’re expanding our business and seeking a seasoned Backend Developer to design and implement backend systems that power our in-house platforms and enable the company to scale.

In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new features, tackle complex technical challenges, and contribute to the development of a scalable and reliable platform.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain backend systems that support the company's growth and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and UX designers to define and refine feature specifications.
• Debug and resolve complex issues, including performance bottlenecks, scale challenges, and bugs across the stack.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues such as stuck jobs in message queues or bugs in backend services.
• Ensure the delivery of clean, high-quality, and maintainable code.

Your skills and experience

• 4+ years of experience in Backend and Web Development, with 2+ years working with Java and Spring Framework.
• Strong expertise in building and maintaining HTTP/RESTful APIs and object-oriented programming principles.
• Hands-on experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases (e.g., Elasticsearch, MongoDB).
• Advanced knowledge of the Spring Framework and its modules, including Spring Data, Spring Security, Spring OAuth2, Spring AOP, and Spring Cloud.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and its application in CMS development.
• Proficiency in working with both synchronous and asynchronous technologies.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and their application in software architecture.
• Solid experience with Git and version control systems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams using English.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to have:

• Experience with setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker for managing development and production environments.
• Previous experience in AI integration within CMS systems.
