NodeJS Backend Developer (Java, Cloud)

Job description

• Design, research, and implement scalable, reliable, and high-performance microservices-based systems.
• Lead by example to mentor and guide team members, fostering best practices and efficient problem-solving.
• Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to plan and deliver impactful features on schedule.
• Continuously enhance and maintain the company’s tech stack, including libraries, frameworks, and tools.
• Contribute to a collaborative and professional work environment while encouraging growth within the team.

Your skills and experience

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in software development, particularly backend systems using Node.js and Java.
• Education: A degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Key Skills:
  • Expertise in Node.js and proficiency with Node-RED for developing DDI flows.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and third-party API integration.
  • Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Terraform) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage.
  • Experience with version control tools like Git, as well as project management platforms like Jira or VersionOne.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, multitask, and adapt to dynamic environments.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated team player with a proactive attitude and minimal supervision requirements.
