Job description
- Responsible for building an effective team, inspiring and empowering team members to achieve team goals
- Lead, coach and mentor your team to grow as engineers, contributors to the business and as teammates
- Guide architectural decisions, and help to make our systems more scalable, secure and of higher quality
- Ensure code quality and maintainability by tackling tech debt, conducting code reviews, initiate refactoring and improve build and test systems
- Contribute to the team’s work, with clean, maintainable and testable code
- Collaborate with other engineering leaders to drive continuous improvement in ways of working and engineering practice from coding and processes, to tools and testing
- Provide continuous support and guidance to less senior colleagues through regular coaching activities and support them in fulfilling their personal development plans
- Analyze, design, coordinate, document, and undertake the development of software systems for assigned products
- Write, edit, and debug software for assigned products
- Contribute to analysis of software products including performance, diagnosis, and troubleshooting
- Conduct peer reviews for other members of the development team, ensuring that product conventions are adhered too and that requirements are correctly implemented
- Work with staff and clients to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization of existing software products
- Work with staff and clients to identify opportunities for new software products that will be of benefit to the organization
Your skills and experience
- At least 7 years of experience working as Software Development, with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft .NET stack
- At least 2 years of experience in management/ leading level
- Strong understanding of object-oriented development principles
- Hands-on experiences in SQL Server and scripting
- Highly proficient in ASP.NET, C#, JQuery desirable
- Skill for writing reusable C# libraries
- Experience working in an Agile Environment
- Analysis and problem solving skills
- Good English communication skills (both verbal & written), especially in the global software development environment
