Job description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Mid-Senior Backend Java Developer with at least 3 years of professional experience to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Java-based web applications tailored to our client needs. This position demands strong technical expertise, strategic problem-solving skills, and the ability to take initiative in driving projects forward. 

Responsibilities  

• Partner with the Project Manager toward improving and fulfilling the technical direction of the product. 
• Participate in the development of new systems based on a microservice architecture and optimize existing systems. 
• Design system architecture. 
• Propose technical approaches to develop software solutions for business features, write high-level architecture documents, and establish coding conventions. 
• Understand system limitations, scalability, and maintainability for future development. 
• Responsible for evaluating technologies, components, development techniques, methods of development, and system integration 
• Participated in Agile software development, prototyping, and code review with development teams to build scalable microservices-based products. 

Your skills and experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software programming or application system design. 
• Experienced in designing systems that operate under the CI/CD model, Microservices, and are ready for migration to cloud computing platforms. 
• Proficient in Java Spring Boot programming, with experience handling/resolving Async & Sync mechanisms, multitasking, multithreading, memory leaks, high CPU usage, virtual threads, etc. 
• Experienced in developing/working with platforms (Java) such as ESB integration hubs (WSO2, Apache Camel, etc.), Message Brokers, Web Application Servers, Memory Cache, BPMN 2.0, Spring (Boot, Streaming, Batch, etc.). 
• Familiar with working on Redis, Oracle, MongoDB, etc. 
• Skilled in using Docker, Openshift, and Kubernetes (K8S). 
• Experienced in designing APIs following OWASP standards, and implementing encryption, decryption, and application security mechanisms (JWT, RSA, SHA, etc.). 
• Enthusiastic, dynamic, creative, with strong research skills, good analytical thinking, and a willingness to learn and explore new technologies. 
• Ethical, responsible, honest, and has a strong sense of accountability. 
• Able to work in teams or independently and capable of handling high-pressure work environments.
