Job description
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Integrate automated test into CI/CD pipeline
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases
- Debug issues and provide detailed reports
- Continuously improve automation frameworks and processes
- Set up test strategies and test plans, create and maintain test cases (user scenarios) and keep applicable documentation up to date
- Work closely with Developers, Business Analyst and End Users to conduct integration testing for new-built systems in Development/UAT/Pre-production/Production environment
- Work closely with Developers on release processes and procedures
- Work closely with Product Owners / Business Analyst / Product Managers to understand acceptance criteria and resolve User Interface concerns
- Follow best practices for test processes and methodologies and contribute to ongoing improvement of test practices
- Apply your knowledge of how the software works from a user perspective by being ready to take on the role of demo expert
- Demonstrated software testing skills and understanding of QA practices and principles; ability to understand clients’ needs and create test solutions that address them.
- Learn new technologies and tools as business needs change and effectively incorporate them
Your skills and experience
- Experience with Python or other programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, or C# for scripting and automation.
- Strong experience with Selenium for web automation
- Hands-on expertise with Appium for mobile automation (iOS and Android)
- Experience using test automation frameworks such as Cucumber, SpecFlow, Behave, or Robot Framework.
- Knowledge of XML query language (XPath) for locating UI elements
- Solid understanding of API testing, including designing, writing, and executing tests for RESTful and SOAP services. Experience with tools like Postman, SoapUI,..
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
- Good problem-solving skills and is meticulous
- Knowledge of SQL is a plus
- At least 3 years of experience of Manual Quality Assurance Engineer
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, especially in English
- Excellent prioritization skills and working multiple projects at the same time
- Have experience with Manual and nice to have experience with automated testing (Selenium, Puppeteer…) in a software environment
- Comfortable writing SQL scripts of moderate complexity and navigating databases
- A good Team player with ability to work with teams across border and can function independently as well
