Job description

  • Building and managing Service Desk department.
  • Support is provided through email and telephone for end-users in United States.
  • Administrative, responding to customers through ticketing system, answering telephone queries and directing to L1/L2 teams as required.
  • Training will be conducted internally on our processes and the software packages we support.
  • Manage current support activities; establish and communicate metrics; drive continuous improvement efforts; manage on/ off-boarding process of new hires in the Service Desk.
  • Assist with the definition of departmental policies, processes, procedures and improvements.
  • Identify operational issues related to process/procedures/tools and work across all IT teams to resolve.
  • Manage operational communications and incident/event resolution and escalations.
  • Define and build automation tools to improve team productivity and efficiency.
  • Assist with creation of run books and other related documentation as required.
  • Willingness and ability to respond to mobile notifications 24x7 as needed.

Your skills and experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Ability to organize, plan, execute and develop departmental policies.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, users, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to apply technology solutions to business problems.
  • Ability to build rapport is crucial and attention to detail is important.
  • Demonstrate initiative with or without direct authority.
  • Self-motivated time management.
  • Able to prioritize competing or conflicting requests.
  • Supports and maintains a positive attitude and vision with peers, associates, team members and management.
  • In advance, Analysts with previous experience in Service Desk or IT/software would obviously preferred
