The Job

You plays a pivotal role in ensuring that IT understands business requirements for collaboration by creating a working relationship between the business and IT. The Business Analyst should have strong technical skills coupled with business process and collaboration systems experience. They will elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of collaboration project stakeholders, be they customers or end users. The Business Analyst will also apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help support the development process when custom development is needed, and to ensure that project deliverables are met according to specifications.

Principal duties

  • Assisting with the business case.
  • Analyzing, eliciting, translating and simplifying business needs and requirements.
  • Requirements management and communication.
  • Engage in pre-sales activity

Main responsibilities:
  • Understand customer business process, needs and requirements.
  • Analyze the requirements from customers in business view and end-user view.
  • Ensure business requirements are fully understood by Development and provide input to design and product specifications.
  • Document functional and business requirements.
  • Track and manage all requirements, specifications, change request of the project.
  • Work with development team to go over the specification, Q&A, consult the solutions or figure out the problems.
  • Support UAT in testing, verifying bugs/issues with client
  • Contact partners for integration with outside system
  • Others tasks assigned by direct supervisors

Your Skills and Experience

1. Education:

  • University Degree in IT, Finance or Business Administration

2. Knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Understanding of application development and software development life cycle concepts
  • Two years of work experience in IT or Service industry
  • Strong analytical skills and process understanding

3. Soft-skills and attributes:

  • Strong verbal and writing skills in English & Vietnamese
  • Detail focused with big picture thinking capabilities and problem solving approach
  • Active listening and ability to share information easily, good communication style.
  • Assertiveness and dynamic with drive for continuous improvement
