Job description
Team Leadership- Plan and arrange technical knowledge training for team member.
- Together with CIO/DCIO to define the KPI for the team.
- Measure the KPI/ SLA performance of human resources and determining method for improvement/ enforcement.
Technology Adaptation & Monitoring
- Propose improvement plan and/or roadmap for technology adaptation for the principle of cost saving and technical stability improvement.
- Guide the team members on the design and operation within infrastructure.
- Define the architecture of infrastructure to achieve the target of high availability, high performance, high reliability, high security and low cost.
- Review/refine the architecture, measure the architecture achievement for the same target as the above.
Risk Management
- Determine the risks in IT Operation on both procedural and human resources. Find the resolution for the potential risks. Execute the resolution if required
- Perform regular gap analysis within infrastructure to determine any loophole and/or weakness.
- Determine the corresponding remediation
Operation Support.
- Ensure the available of the operational support material for infrastructure. This is disregarding on who is going to operate the facilities.
- Ensure the available of monitor facility and the automation of alert notification.
- Plan and manage the mechanism and human resource on determination of resolution for incidents in order to achieve the SLA compliance.
- Define/design the operation reports to meet the requirement of showing the status of infrastructure accurately and clearly.
Project Management
- Define the project plan for the project.
- Manage resource for implementation and hardware/software procurement.
- Define/determine correctness of the implementation documents and testing plan.
- Take charge the acceptance process.
Your skills and experience
- University or college degree in IT, Computer Mathematics or related subjects.- Minimum 7 years network or system administrative experience.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2008R2, 2012, Active Directory and Group Policy administration.
- A solid understanding of an network technologies, OSI network model, TCP/IP, IPv6, IP address management, DNS, DHCP, layer 2 switching (VLAN, VTP, intervlan routing), layer 3 routing (OSPF, BGP, routing protocols versus routed protocols), WAN optimization, ability to use performance analysis to tune systems.
- A solid understanding of network security technologies, firewalls, layer 7 and application firewalls, IPSec, VPN.
- A expertise in networking/distributed computing environment concepts, including principles of routing, bridging and switching, voice over IP, voice systems and services, security principles.
- Solid knowledge and experience with Cisco, checkpoint technologies.
- Experience with multiple storage vendors (Dell, Hitachi, EMC) and connectivity (iSCSI, FC, NFS).
- Strong knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V and other virtualization technologies.
- Expert knowledge with security model to manage risks through patching or innovative techniques.
- Strong experience with DHCP, DNS, RDS and Certificate Services.
- Knowledge on database included DB2, Oracle, and/or Informix.
- Solid experience in supporting windows environments with expert level understanding on various operating system internals, clustering, HA, event debugging and issue resolution.
- Experience on finance system and securities trading system is an advantage.
- Experience identifying, analyzing and managing risks on large, complex data network.
- Experience using and mentoring on the use of MS Project and MS Project.
