Your Role

As the first hire at Stellarbase, you'll play a key role in shaping the company’s direction and establishing our development processes, coding standards, and best practices. With opportunities for growth, you'll be instrumental in building the foundation for our future engineering team. This part-time role will transition to full-time as we grow. Your skills and experience

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications (usually from scratch)
• Collaborate with clients to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables
• Translate client needs into technical requirements and actionable tasks

What You'll Bring:

• Strong experience with JavaScript, Node.js, and React/Next.js
• Familiarity with modern development tools and frameworks (e.g., TypeScript, GraphQL, etc)
• Proven experience with RESTful API design and integration
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience or familiarity with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, BigCommerce, etc
• Professional proficiency in English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactivity, self-organization, and ability to take initiative independently
