Job description
We are looking for a Frontend Developer (HTML/CSS/UI-UX/Java) who is responsible for applying interactive and visual design principles to the Magnolia web application making it a positive, cohesive and great end user experience.
The focus of the role is on improving and polishing the Magnolia UI and user experience, workflows, etc. in direct collaboration with our UX Designer.
Your skills and experience
- Understanding of design systems
- Understanding of usability guidelines
- Have a good eye for design details
- Aim for visual perfection
- Appreciates iterative working patterns and direct feedback loop with UX and other stakeholders
- Self-starter
- Provide technical expertise to UX; collaborate on final design and UX approaches by providing technical expertise and feasibility assessments
- Participation in Scrum (Planning, Grooming, Estimation, Reviews)
- Fluent English is required, additional languages are a plus
- Strong user interface development experience using technologies such as CSS, HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, Angular/React Js
- Minimum of 3 years Java development experience, Enterprise Java development is a plus
- Experience with dependency and build tools, source version control, issue tracking tools, and testing frameworks (for example Maven, Git, Jira, JUnit/Selenium)
- Experience with Vaadin/GWT is a bonus
