Job description

We are currently hiring an Executive Systems Architect to join the Product Development team. If you love building high-impact products that touch the lives and stomachs of millions of users, working alongside a talented, world-class team, we want to hear from you.
The Systems Architect is responsible for analyzing and understanding high-level requirements, solutioning, develop, simulation and integration. This role focuses on bridging the gap between business goals and technical implementation, ensuring that all components of a system work together seamlessly. The Systems Architect works closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define and implement the strategy for our products.

Responsibilities

• Analyze High-Level Requirements: Interpret and break down complex business or technical needs into actionable insights.
• Design End-to-End Solutions: Brainstorm and create comprehensive system designs that align with organizational goals and technical constraints.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business leaders, developers, and other teams to ensure the solution is feasible, scalable, and meets expectations.
• Create Architectural Documentation: Develop diagrams, workflows, and detailed documentation to guide implementation and ensure clarity.
• Ensure System Integration: Verify that the solution integrates seamlessly with existing systems and adheres to industry best practices.
• Evaluate Technology Options: Assess and recommend tools, platforms, and frameworks to achieve the desired outcomes efficiently.

Your skills and experience

• Education Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. 
• Language Proficiency: English (written & spoken)
• Relevant Experience: 
  - At least 3 years of experience in in system architecture and design or similar field.
  - Experience and knowledge with Brick Schema and FIWare Data Models such as NGSI v2.
• Professional Knowledge/ Skills:
  - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of addressing complex technical issues. 
  - Excellent Oral, Communication & liaison skills. 
  - Good knowledge of UML and other modelling methods. 
  - Basic/intermediate knowledge on security best practices.
  - Experience on AWS Cloud Technologies.
  - Experience with Docker & Kubernetes.
  - Experience on Software Architecture such as Micro-Services, N-Tier Architecture. 
  - Experience using team collaboration tools(e.g., JIRA) will be added advantage. 
  - Relevant certifications in System Architecture and Design will be beneficial
