Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer/Engineering Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Implement and evolve patterns, practices, and processes to support effective design, development, and delivery of customer value, in partnership with engineering leaders, and Product Leaders.
  • Coach and mentor engineering leaders, and individual engineers to be more effective individual contributors.
  • Ensure adherence to established patterns, practices, and processes in areas of immediate responsibility and across engineering.
  • Architect the system and review code for highly scalable SAAS.
  • Should be strong in building a high-quality system in either Elixir/Golang/Python or any functional languages.
  • Involving in strategic and operational decision making.
  • Understand and convey the product vision to the team and drive initiatives to achieve them.
  • Responsible for mentoring, developing, and managing an entire team of engineers to grow a high-performance engineering organization.
  • Ensuring technology teams deliver major initiatives that drive our service/system growth.
  • Participate in product team iteration planning, release planning, and coordination of dependencies.
  • Work closely with Product, Business, and Quality Control teams to understand and track to the closure of product implementation, enhancements, and changes.
  • Management of roadmap milestone deliveries.
  • Create, communicate, and ensure compliance with high coding standards.
  • Drive DevOps to ensure appropriate monitoring, alerting, incident management, and problem resolution for products and services.
  • Understand Users & Drive conversions by employing analytics & User behavior.

Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Record of accomplishment of successful management of Infrastructure, Site Reliability and Platforms.
  • Experience leading and growing a high performing engineering organization.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness as a coach and mentor to engineering leaders and individual engineers.
  • Record of accomplishment of recruiting, retaining, and growing high performing talent.
  • Experience with architectural patterns of large, high-scale applications.
  • Shipped several large-scale projects with multiple dependencies across teams.
  • Must have hands-on experience in Elixir/Go/Python, Aws, and Microservices.
  • Experience with Redis, Elasticsearch has knowledge of Caching is a plus.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL others (MySQL, NoSQL, etc.) is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of eCommerce, Saas, etc.
  • Knowledge of Integrations with various Third-party CRMs.
  • Effective communication, planning, critical thinking, and organizational skills required. Must be able to understand users, analyze data, solve problems, make decisions, and continuously improve.
  • Ability to work under pressure with time constraints.
  • Experience with agile development processes and frequent release cycles.
  • Great interest in eCommerce.
