Job description

As an Infrastructure Engineer in Glohow, you will oversee and enhance the infrastructure for three key areas:

1. Game Infrastructure Management: Maintain and optimize the infrastructure for our live game services, ensuring seamless and reliable gaming experiences for players.

2. Platform Product Support: Provide infrastructure support for our in-development platform, enabling smooth product development and delivery.

3. Enterprise Systems: Manage and improve company-wide site and system infrastructure to support organizational operations and growth.

Responsibilities

• System Design and Reliability: Architect, implement, and maintain robust, high-availability infrastructure across both cloud and on-premise environments.
• Service Infrastructure: Ensure the reliability and scalability of infrastructure supporting live services.
• Enterprise Infrastructure Management: Develop strategies for scalable infrastructure that supports organizational growth and cross-functional needs.
• Automation: Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring processes to streamline operations and improve reliability.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and operational consistency.
• Process Improvement: Develop and refine operational processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and team collaboration.
• Monitoring and Incident Management: Implement advanced monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to proactively identify and resolve system issues.
• Security and Compliance: Enhance system security, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize infrastructure performance metrics, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, operations, and leadership teams to align infrastructure with business goals and objectives.

Your skills and experience

• 6+ years in roles such as DevOps Engineer, System Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or similar.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Deep understanding of Linux/Unix-based systems and networking.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and effective English communication skills.
• Preferred: Certifications in cloud platforms or DevOps-related disciplines (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CKA).
