Job description

Manage development activities to build and maintain WEB-based software systems using J2EE, SPRING frameworks, JavaScript frameworks and databases.

Your skills and experience

Responsibilities 

  • Lead a team of software engineers to ensure the completion of tasks and projects
  • Collaborate with a geographically dispersed team and stakeholders and work closely with head of development on daily basis
  • Understand business domain and participate in full life-cycle for software development projects inclusive of requirement gathering, analysis, development, testing and issue resolution activities
  • Provide technical leadership for every aspect of the software development and participating in analyzing, estimating, reviewing and revising software requirements
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in overall project management by prioritizing, planning, tracking project progress and reporting to stakeholders
  • Develop team members by coaching, facilitating career aspirations and providing growth opportunities, and monitor team members' progress

 

Requirements    

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in enterprise applications preferably in Java
  • 2-3 years of experience in leading/managing small teams
  • Strong experience as a developer prior to management roles
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the software development life cycle, Agile principle
  • Good command of English, able to communicate internally by both verbal and written English
  • High energy, motivated team player, able to effectively lead across functions and teams to drive projects and key initiatives to completion
