The Job

Work with IT and business stakeholders to understand business needs, validate the requirements, and transform them into analytics applications
Evaluate and select sound technical applications design alternatives to meet business requirements
Work closely with the team to provide input on appropriate solutions that are consistent with current reporting standards and processes
Integrate reporting components from multiple data sources
Working with analysts, develop comprehensive test case plans. Ensure thorough unit testing and QA transition.
Document solution and execute knowledge transfer for application, per Dorman project delivery process.
provide support for developed solutions while in warranty period

Job Specific Competencies

Must have:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree (or equivalent work experience)
3++ years of experience with business intelligence tools preferred
Solid understanding of the concepts and practices of data model design including multidimensional and relational reporting and analysis techniques
Experience in optimizing dashboards with focus on usability, performance, flexibility and standardization
Experience in end-to-end implementation of BI projects for developing a portfolio of scorecards, KPIs, reports & dashboards
Experience in writing and debugging SQL queries
