What you’ll be doing

As BI Specialist you will take charge of BI reporting for the team. You will work closely with both the product team to perform customer research and also with senior managers to produce BI reports. This role has a broad scope that encompassess many functions across the company and will include: 

1. Building and improving our business intelligence application

  • Working with team leads to determine important business metrics
  • Planning with team leads to forecast business demand and make scalable initiatives
  • Consulting on strategy to help functional departments use data effectively
  • Collaborating with other departments to form and drive cross-functional projects
  • Building a market-leading resource of internal and external data to gain competitive advantage
  • Leading training sessions on statistics, study methodology, hypothesis testing and data interpretation to improve the team’s capabilities
  • Contributing to the high-performance culture of LOGIVAN

2. Conducting data analysis, presentation and interpretation

  • Advising on the best methods for robust data collection
  • Building automated data collection processes
  • Performing quantitative analysis using data extracted from analytics tools & surveys
  • Presenting data clearly and to help the team understand the state of the business
  • Deriving insights from the data to make recommendations about business direction
  • Preparation and maintenance of the data room to present to current and new investors

3. Controlling data consistency and integrity

  • Reviewing reports, metrics and numbers to ensure they are up to date
  • Ensuring that sensitive data has appropriate data security measures in place

Your Skills and Experience

  • Bachelors' degree in quantitative scientific field
  • Experience and post-graduate study in data and statistics
  • Being very analytical and numbers-driven
  • Proficient in SQL and Python 
  • Knowledge of data mining and data visualisation
  • Great communication skills including professional standard of English language
