Job description
As an AWS Cloud/DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the cloud infrastructure and DevOps pipelines that power our products and services. You will work closely with development teams, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure our systems are secure, scalable, and highly available.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Design & Implementation: Architect and maintain AWS-based environments using services such as EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, and RDS.
- Automation & CI/CD: Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines using tools like Jenkins.
- Configuration Management: Implement and manage infrastructure as code using CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Monitoring & Logging: Set up and monitor metrics, logs, and performance data with services such as AWS CloudWatch and Grafana.
- Security & Compliance: Work with security teams to ensure compliance with best practices, including IAM policies and network security.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with software engineers, QA, and product owners to optimize system performance and deliver high-quality software products.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Handle incident response, root cause analysis, and performance tuning to maintain service reliability.
- Documentation: Maintain clear, detailed documentation of designs, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
Your skills and experience
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Two or more years of proven hands-on DevOps and AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, etc.)
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, including CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code.
- Solid understanding of Windows/Linux system administration, SQL databases and networking concepts.
- Strong understanding and practical working knowledge of Windows/Linux shell scripting, AWS, JavaScript, Python, Jenkins, Git, Docker, as well as automated deployment software like Terraform or Kubernetes
- Expertise with web security technologies such as HTTPS, TLS, SSH, OpenSSL, and X509
- Experience in designing or configuring systems and/or applications
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skill and teamwork spirit
- Bi-lingual: Vietnamese and English
