Reports to: Technical Lead

Contract: Contractor, Full-time

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented QA Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of our web and mobile applications. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional user experiences while maintaining high standards of software reliability and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test reports to ensure all project requirements are thoroughly assessed.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to define quality objectives and troubleshoot issues.
• Analyze the outcomes of testing processes and recommend innovative solutions to address identified issues and improve product quality.
• Utilize industry-standard testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Cypress, Postman, and others to automate and streamline testing processes.
• Contribute to the development of robust test scripts and frameworks for mobile platforms (Android/iOS) using Appium, ensuring seamless functionality across devices.
• Conduct thorough API automation testing and ensure system integrations meet performance and reliability standards.
• Leverage SQL expertise to verify data integrity and identify any database-related defects.
• Identify and resolve software issues through strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Work within an Agile development environment, actively participating in sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives to support continuous delivery and iterative improvement.
• Maintain a strong commitment to achieving quality excellence and security across all deliverables.

Your skills and experience

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A minimum of 2+ years of commercial experience in QA testing for both web and mobile applications.
• Proven experience with test automation tools and frameworks, especially in creating and executing automated tests using Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Cypress, Postman, etc.
• 2+ years of experience specifically in test scripting or framework development for mobile platforms (Android/iOS) using Appium.
• Knowledge and experience with API automation testing tools and methodologies is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries to verify data consistency and troubleshoot database issues.
• A passion for quality assurance and delivering secure, high-performing products.
• Strong communication skills in English (written, spoken, and reading comprehension) to effectively collaborate with an international team.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with an understanding of sprint-based workflows and iterative product development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance testing efficiency.
