The Job

  • Build new and key features for native Android app with clean, high-quality, high performance and maintainable code.
  • Work closely with project managers and backend team.
  • Analysing and optimize performance and reliability of the Android app.
  • Take ownership of tasks from design to implementation.
  • Work with project manager and teammates to understanding client requirements, identify
  • solutions and determine feasibility & timelines.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure project meets business objectives and compliance standards.
  • Support test and deployment of new products and features.
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Transfer existing Android application to React Native platform.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent diploma
  • 2+ years’ experience as a software engineer on Android Platform (Java).
  • Familiar with Agile methodology.
  • Interacting with REST API and XML/Json Web Service.
  • Implementation Local Storage or Local DB(SQLite).
  • React Native or ASP.Net, C# knowledge is a huge bonus.
  • Proven ability to ship beautiful, stable and high-performance Android application from start to finish.
  • Strong computer science background with good understanding of Android frameworks and best practices.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
