Job description

Our company is seeking a full time Developer with .NET C# and possess some SQL Server skills. You are expected to possess excellent software development life cycle knowledge and excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English to liaise with stakeholders. Documentation skills would be an advantage but not mandatory. Ability to support uptake of new technologies is a must.

Your skills and experience

*The ideal candidate will possess the following key requirements:

  • Be able to analyse, design, code, test, document and implement new applications or enhancements to existing systems
  • Write SQL stored procedure, function, view
  • Work as an effective team member; share knowledge and information with the team and assist others in meeting team priorities
  • Work as part of a larger team to provide ongoing production support to our customers and internal staff. This involves investigate production issues, locating root cause, and applying the appropriate fixes or change requests and documentation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - written and verbal
  • Enthusiastic, "can do" attitude!

*Required technical attributes:

  • Experienced in .NET ( 3.5, 4.X) development in C#.
  • Experienced with API integration through web services
  • Strong skills in .NET frameworks and .NET development tools.
  • An extensive background working with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL queries and Microsoft reporting tools
  • Can work with Windows Form, MVC or Xamarin are a big plus

*Additionally, preference may be given to candidates who possess the following:

  • Working knowledge of or experience in ERP type systems
  • Working knowledge of or experience in Accounting or Retail POS systems
  • Experience in Agile Development methodologies

1 WORKING HOURS

  • Working hours is flexible and the standard guideline is between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with 1 hour break for lunch.
  • Staff can start early and finish early to keep in sync with Australia working hours
  • Staff must advise (ASAP) respective team lead and/or office manager if coming to work late
  • If staff need to take some time off during working week for personal matters then staff should notify and seek authorisation from department manager. Staff are allowed to work extra hours during the week to make up for those time once approved.
  • Working from home is possible and will be determined case by case basis by department manager.
  • Some staff are required to work extra hours during weekend for specific purpose such as Conversion or Installation then Leave in Lieu can be applied. Leave in Lieu is not accumulative and should be used first before Annual Leave.

 2 HOLIDAYS

  • 12 days Annual Leave per annum. Annually leave is accumulated up to 2 years. Company will pay if it is less than 5 days then the company will clear the balance. If It is more than 5 days then The employee will take leave to reduce the balance to 5 days.
  • Additional one annual leave day for every five years of service
  • 10 days public holidays per annum or as per the government regulations

 3 LEAVES

  • Sick Leave: 5 days paid per annum (no roll-over). Staff need to produce doctor certificate if sick leave is taken more than one day consecutively.
