FOOD AND AGRICULTURE ORGANIZATION OF THE UNITED NATIONS (FAO)

A specialized agency of the United Nations that leads international efforts to defeat hunger. Our goal is to achieve food security for all and make sure that people have regular access to enough high-quality food to lead active, healthy lives. With over 194 member states, FAO works in over 130 countries worldwide. We believe that everyone can play a part in ending hunger. 

In Vietnam, FAO has been implementing the project “Risk Mitigation and Management of Human Health Threats along Animal Value Chains - OSRO/VIE/402/USA” to further reduce the threat of a pandemic emerging due to outbreaks of avian influenza and other pandemic threats in the country. 

DLP and FAO decided to develop the poultry farm database management software using the technical specification developed by Vinh Cuu company. The software will be owned and managed by DLP to meet state management requirements.
